Course Title:

Rotation First: A systematic evidence based approach to treating patients with shoulder dysfunction

Course Description:

The prevalence of shoulder pain is high. Some studies show the prevalence of shoulder pain to be as high as 41%. New studies are coming out frequently that show that a conservative approach to treating shoulder pain is at least as effective as surgery combined with treatment, if not better. Being able to effectively and efficiently treat patients with shoulder dysfunction will become more and more paramount as more people seek conservative treatment for their shoulder pain. In fact, the current healthcare environment practically demands that patients be managed conservatively and effectively.

I am excited to offer a course that truly integrates all phases of rehabilitation for the treatment of shoulder dysfunction. This course is lab heavy and will give you the tools you need to effectively help patients that have shoulder dysfunction. The course will cover basic patient management (not as basic as you think), foundational knowledge of the shoulder, examination and assessment, systematic manual therapy techniques, key exercises, proper dosing of treatment, and biomechanics for the overhead athlete.

The course will allow attendees to start down the road of becoming the go-to shoulder specialist in their area. Unlock yours and your patients’ potential – sign up today!
