Protection of Minors Training
Sewanee celebrates the presence of children (those under 18) in our campus community and is committed to ensuring their health, safety and well being. To further our goal, individuals participating in programs or activities (either University-operated or in University facilities) involving minors must complete this training.
Review the information, and answer the questions that follow. Topics include:
1) Guidelines for maintaining safe, positive interactions with minors,
2) Instructions on identifying signs of child abuse and neglect from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families,
3) Steps to take if you suspect that a minor has experienced abuse or neglect, and
4) An acknowledgement that you have read, understand and have completed this training.
