Endorsement Needs Survey

SEDC is conducting this survey in order to assess the need to continue the math endorsement program at this time. We are searching for information to determine if there are enough teachers who want to begin the math endorsement classes and whether or not there is a need for some specific classes in order for teachers to finish their endorsement. We have finished the rotation of all the classes and now need to decide to start again or to let the program rest until 2017 when more teachers will be able to take classes.

I need the following classes in order to finish my math endorsement which I have already begun.

Teaching K-8 Rational Numbers and Proportional Reasoning for Practitioners

Teaching K-8 Algebraic Reasoning for Practitioners

Teaching K-8 Geometry and Measurement for Practitioners

Teaching K-8 Data Analysis and Problem Solving for Practitioners

Teaching K-8 Numbers and Operations for Practitioners

Teaching K-8 Assessment and Intervention for Practitioners

How can we at SEDC best follow-up and provide support to your school with the training we offer?

Schedule a group follow-up training sometime after the initial training.

Come back and work with individual teachers or small groups during prep time.

Identify and work closely with one local 'expert' teacher who is the first go-to for help. If the local expert can't solve the problem, they contact us for support.
