Code Weekend (Fall 2015)

The hugely popular Code Weekend is back! Interested in learning the basics of website design and code?Join us for a series of workshops that will guide you through the process of making a full web app!

We will be teaching you the basics of web development, starting with HTML/CSS and an understanding of how the web works. We will then proceed to make a full-fledged Webapp using NodeJS, MongoDB and some third-party APIs, to give you the tools to be able to build a complete app on your own! Take a look at what was covered last Code Weekend at http://dinphil.github.io/code-weekend/past/spring15/index.html.

This time around we're teaming with the Architechs to host another workshop, 'Intro to Hardware Hacking', that will run on August 29th alongside the Code Weekend lineup.

Food will (probably) be provided! Sign up quickly, as spots are limited!

The Web Development Sessions will be held in Towne 100 in the Engineering Quad (more details below), and the Intro to Hardware workshop will be held from 12PM-3PM, August 29th in the Detkin Lab.

If you're interested in signing up as a mentor for these workshops, please sign up here: http://goo.gl/forms/K2uclNTx7q
