Herbs for the Common Cold January 10am to 12pm
This winter don't let a common cold get you down. Learn how can herbs be used to prevent and heal a common cold. All herbs used in the workshop have been grown at The Forge Garden. Participants will get to take home an herbal remedy. The workshop will be lead by Jaqueline Gomba. Jacqueline Gomba has studied medicinal herbs at the Ohlone Center for Herbal Studies in Berkeley, California. She enjoys making herbal medicines for all seasons and is excited to share how to strengthen your immunity, reduce stress, and  avoid getting sick with some help from our herbal allies! This is a free workshop.

Bee Keeping Workshop February 13th 10am to 12pm
Head to The Forge to learn about honey bee biology and hive dynamics. Discover the equipment, tools, and resources needed to keep bees! Get a chance to open up a hive and see the inside of a live bee hive. Mark Paterson, Professional Beekeeper and President of the Santa Clara Bee Guild will be leading this workshop. The workshop fee is $25 per person.
