Below is a brief summary of the different types of events and programs we offer:
Module presentation (single event):Our Instructors will host a lesson from our module list, including a brief lecture, a hands-on activity, and a debrief/discussion. As module presentations function much like a "class", they work best when there is a set group of students who will be attending the entire session, rather than as a drop-in activity. Groups of 30 students or fewer work best. At least 45 minutes are required for a full module presentation.
Module presentation (series):Our Instructors will host a series of module presentations over the course of several weeks. These series do not require that the same set of students attend each of the sessions together, but the students for each individual session still need to plan to arrive at the same time and stay for the duration of the lesson. The number of sessions in each series is flexible.
We have several module presentation series programs that you can select, or you can combine your own selection of modules from our Lessons page! Our existing module presentation series include: - CSI: Forensic Science - Science Fair Support (specifically designed to guide students through designing & preparing science fair projects) - Engineering & Design - ... and more!
Other:If possible, we are happy to accommodate requests for special events that fall outside of our typical categories. If you have questions about any of these options or specific event requests, please include that information in the form below or email our Outreach Officer, Lauren Koppel, at email@example.com
