Special Education Training in the Reader's Workshop
Since all students are working at their own levels in a workshop classroom, it is naturally differentiated to meet the needs of diverse learners. What is the role of the special educator in the reader’s workshop? How can special educators and support staff effectively support students within the general education setting as part of a workshop classroom? If you are interested in learning more about this topic, we encourage you to take advantage of this professional learning opportunity.

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to
• define and extend the role of special educators and support staff in the reader’s workshop.
• Define communication systems for struggling students to ensure learning opportunities are extended from intervention into the classroom setting
