Root & Rebound is trying to connect and coordinate statewide efforts to reduce Occupational Licensing Bans and Barriers. We are thrilled that this issue is gaining more traction, because of the severe needs we see on our Reentry Legal Hotline and with incarcerated students of our Training Program who need opportunities to do the work they are skilled/trained for.

We would like to see movement on this issue in California in the years to come, but we DO NOT want to duplicate current efforts or reinvent the wheel; rather, we would like to prop up, strengthen, and connect current efforts and groups who plan/hope to be more involved in this issue. Any answers you provide will allow us to do just that.
