Dear Families of Room 8,

Thank you so much for being interested in helping Room 8 run smoothly this year. Below is a list of needs that Rozelle and I have identified. If you are willing and able to help out, simply type your name in the "Interested Parent" column and connect with us to get started. We will update this list each week as our needs change, so please check back often as you have time available. - Dana and Rozelle

Self-Manager ActivitiesWhen students complete all of their work for the week they have the opportunity to explore different areas of interest, like orgami, sewing, and handmade card making. If you have a skill that you would like to teach students (think furniture design, knitting, crocheting!) on Friday mornings, we would love to have you here!30-60 minutes on a Friday morningNoneRoom 8

Newspaper AdvisorMeet with a small group of students who are creating a class newspaper. Mostly they will need to check in together to brainstorm ideas for the next paper. You would supervise and give constructive feedback as needed, help find resources and help students print a couple of copies for the class to share. I have lessons and documents to help teach and provide more structure if you would like to use them as well.30 min. once a week?NoneRoom 8 or alternate location in Ridgeline
