Student Consultant Spring 2015 Application: ChangeTheWorld.org Social Venture Consulting Program

ChangeTheWorld.org (CTW) is a social venture consulting program that provides graduate and undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage in a semester-long business consulting project with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Student consultants work in teams of about four individuals and are challenged to scope the project, plan for deliverable creation and deadlines, collect data, maintain frequent communication with their client, and provide a thorough, strategic set of recommendations at the end of the consulting engagement. Projects are available in six functional areas: Marketing, Strategic Planning, Finance, Operations, IT strategy, and Human Capital.

You may form a team ahead of time and suggest team members on this form. All team members must apply separately though. We will do our best to keep teams together.

The time commitment will be around 40 to 50 hours per person for the duration of the project. You will be notified if you are accepted by February 4th. Consulting engagements will run from February 5th to May 15th.

Consulting Boot Camp will take place on an evening during the week of February 16th (tentatively).

Please submit this application AND send your resume by Monday, February 2nd to Program Manager Pammi Bhullar: pbhullar@rhsmith.umd.edu. The subject line should read: Last Name, CTW Student Consultant Resume.

Please keep in mind that the professionalism and depth of content in this application will be taken into careful consideration.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a ChangeTheWorld.org Consultant!
