High Level Political Forum - Youth Advocate Action Days
Restless Development and the Permanent Mission of Denmark to the United Nations will deliver a two day capacity building training for young people at the beginning of the High Level Political Forum (HLPF). It will be open for any young person attending the Forum in New York with the main aims of helping them navigate the UN to maximise their advocacy efforts, as well as promoting the role of youth-led accountability in ensuring the successful implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The training will foster peer to peer learning between the young advocates along regional and thematic lines, and provide them with an opportunity to engage with key decision makers and stakeholders also. Sessions will be run by a number of partners, from both the UN and civil society, and will look to create strong partnerships between young advocates to continue advocacy efforts back at the national and local levels once the HLPF has finished.

This form is designed to capture information on the dates which you will be in New York for the 2017 UN High Level Political Forum and able to attend the 2 day capacity building training, help set priority for which sessions to run, and what skills should be prioritised. The Youth Advocate Action Days will be run by Restless Development and the Permanent Mission of Denmark to the United Nations, with the Major Group for Children & Youth.
