Large Group Volunteer Staff Job Descriptions
Host: Serves as the emcee; usually welcomes the kids; may transition to the Bible Story and
worship; dismisses the kids to Small Group

Worship Leader: Leads kids in worship (Worship Videos and Motions will be provided). You just have to get up front with excitement and enthusiasm and help lead kids in song by singing and teaching motions.

Small Group Volunteer Staff Job Descriptions
Small Group Leader: Primary Bible teacher for each age group. Will teach a rotation of 4 groups of children (prechool, Kinder-1st, 2nd-3rd & 4th-6th) in 40 minute increments, the application to the Bible lesson. All lesson plans and supplies are provided. You will just need to facilitate. A SMALL GROUP LEADER IS KEY!

Shepherds: Assists the Small Group leaders; stays with the same group all week; continually counts and keeps a list of children; escorts children to the bathroom; encourages spiritual growth, relationship building, discussion, & respectful behavior; assists in moving kids to and from Large Group and rotation areas SHEPHERDS ARE KEY!

Activity Volunteer Staff Job Descriptions
Crafts Director: Primary arts/crafts teacher for each age group. Will teach a rotation of 4 groups of children (preschool, Kinder-1st, 2nd-3rd & 4th-6th) in 40 minute increments. Oversees preparation and setup of craft area: facilitates craft activities (all supplies and lesson plans will be provided)

Coach: Primary sports/games coach for each age group. Will teach a rotation of 4 groups of children (preschool, Kinder-1st, 2nd-3rd & 4th-6th) in 40 minute increments. Provides snack & coaches kids in learning to play soccer as well as other sports such as basketball, field hockey, & obstacle courses, etc. Sports and games can encourage kids to take healthy risks; learn to cope when things don't go their way; learn to set goals; learn how to play by the rules; learn to win and lose with grace; can build community and can encourage higher self-esteem. Sports equipment, games and snack will be provided.
