Liability Release and Waiver *
I understand that my participation with the Riley County Humane Society is strictly on a volunteer basis. I understand that there are inherent risks associated with my volunteer activities, including the risk of personal injury resulting from animal bites and other animal behavior, and with such understanding, I hereby waive, release and forever discharge RCHS and its officers, agents or volunteers, from any and all claims (whether present or future) arising out of my participation in RCHS’s Volunteer program. I understand that I am waiving any and all claims of liability including, but not limited to, claims of negligence and/or injury to me, against the Riley County Humane Society, its officers, agents and volunteers, arising out of my participation in the Riley County Humane Society’s Volunteer Program.

I release and hold harmless the Riley County Humane Society, its officers, its agents, and volunteers from responsibility or liability arising out of my child’s participation. I understand there are certain risks inherent in dealing with animals. I certify that my child is covered under my health insurance policy should injury take place while volunteering or participating and I will be responsible for his/her medical bills.
