Parents, On Friday April 15, 2nd grade will be going on a field trip to American West Heritage Center in Logan for Baby Animals Week. This field trip will align with April’s animal unit. The children will be participating in animal petting activities and playing at the park. Please let us know if your child has allergies and if there are any precautions that we must take. We will be leaving school at 10:00 am sharp so please have your student on time to school that day. Otherwise we will have to leave him/her. We will be eating at the park and everyone will need a sack lunch. School lunch will supply a sack lunch for the normal lunch fee. I must have a count by April 7 to the lunchroom. For home lunches, there will be no microwaves to use so please bring something that does not need to be heated up. Because of the cost of the field trip, we are asking for a $4 donation for this activity. Please turn all donations in to the office. We will return to school at approximately 2:45. We will not have space on the bus so parents will need to car pool or drive on your own. We will need 5 chaperones per class. We are asking that no siblings are included on this field trip.
