Volunteers cover their travel costs to Iquitos Perú (IQT), where they are met by Project Amazonas personnel. Volunteers also need to cover some local travel and food costs estimated at US $25 / day / person (lodging at field stations is provided free of charge). These costs may be reduced if two or more persons volunteer together. In rare cases, Project Amazonas may be able to partially or wholly subsidize a volunteer who can provide critically needed skills.
I will be able to cover daily living / transport costs in Perú at the following level (mark one)
$25 US +
$15 - 25 US
