2017 Local Progress National Convening Registration Form

The Sixth Annual Local Progress National Convening will be in Austin, TX from Friday July 28th to Saturday, July 29th.

We will have extensive programming highlighting best practices and examples of successful progressive policy taking root in cities, towns and counties across the country. We will also celebrate ongoing efforts to defend and protect our communities in the fight against hate, xenophobia, and racism, including policies that are threatening our people.

On Thursday July 27th Local Progress will hold two full day pre-conference sessions, as well as our second women's caucus gathering in the evening. If you are interested in the Wellstone Training or School Board Day, please plan to arrive on July 26. For elected officials from Texas, we are planning to hold a session on July 30, so please hold that date if you would like to participate.

Please mark your calendars and invite your colleagues to join you. We promise that this will be a weekend you will never forget. Financial assistance is available, please register by June 1st to be considered for aid.

    Optional Pre and Post Convening Programming

    On Thursday July 27th Local Progress will hold two full day pre-conference sessions, as well as our second women's caucus gathering in the evening. Please indicate your interest in any of these options below. If you are interested in the Wellstone Training or School Board Day, please plan to arrive on July 26. On Sunday, July 30, Local Progress is exploring hosting a meeting for elected officials from Texas to discuss opportunities for collaboration across the state. Details will be announced at a later date, but for now if you are a Texas local elected official and you are interested in the opportunity to strategize and connect with your colleagues, please indicate below.
