Youth Program Event Request

Scheduling Policy: Campus tours, gallery tours and art activities are available for elementary/middle-school classes and youth group tours upon request. Tours are typically offered M-F, 10am – 6pm. Requests must be submitted at least 10 business days before the proposed visit date. If your visiting group is over 15 students you must provide additional chaperons, 1 adult for every 8 -10 students. On average, we can accommodate groups of up to 45 students for activities, and 60 students for tours. Larger groups with children under the age of 6 are limited to 30 students total. Cost: Exhibition and Campus Tours are free. Activities may require a small fee to cover the cost of materials and instruction. In an effort to offer the widest possible access to our campus and services we have a sliding scale payment policy. Please be prepared to discuss your financial situation when contacted by the Coordinator. Behavior: Since PNCA is an open and active learning space we ask that all groups visiting PNCA maintain a certain level of conduct while on campus and adhere to the rules and protocols outlined by Youth Program staff upon arrival on site. Visitors should not touch or handle artwork on display in all exhibition spaces unless told otherwise. Visitor should stay with their group, and speak at a volume level that respects the educational atmosphere on campus. Media Policy: Photographic or video documentation of groups visiting PNCA may be shared in the College’s publications including social networking sites and blogs. PNCA restricts such uses to its own publications and does not share or sell student names, contact information, or image documentation to a third party. If you prefer that your visit to PNCA not be documented, please note this at the time you are requesting your event. Artwork Disclaimer: PNCA is first and foremost a creative space where students of all ages express their views openly. On occasion artwork with adult themes including sexuality, nudity, political, and religious ideals may be on view. The Youth Program will work to ensure that only age appropriate imagery is accessible to visiting groups. However, educators, parent chaperons, and students should be prepared. - - - Please allow us a minimum of three business days to respond to your request. Should you be waiting longer than that for a response, we would appreciate you contact us directly at or 503-821-8967 Thanks for your interest in our Youth Program and we look forward to working with you.
