The PNCA Pre-College Program documents educational activities hosted through the Continuing Education Department. This is done in support of curricular goals and as a tool to meaningfully capture educational experiences with students and faculty. Documentation of activities, events, classes, and workshops is also used in support of grant funding efforts, which allows for greater tuition remission for children, teens, and families attending programs through out the year.
Additionally, it is PNCA's primary goal to guarantee the joy, well-being and safety of all students on our campus. To achieve this goal, the PNCA Pre-College observes and follows policies and procedures for PNCA instructors and staff as well as youth students and their parents. With this in mind, we also want to instill a sense of independence within the Pre-College experience, and engage students in fun, community-building activities.
Finally, certain academic experiences, such as figure drawing, require permission via a parent. If a family is opposed to the inclusion of curriculum utilizing the nude form for religious or cultural reasons, accommodations can be made. Additionally, if a students comfort or maturity level is such that the subject matter is problematic, we can accommodate that as well.
Please read and note below the following permissions you will allow during your child's participation with the Pre-College Studios.
