Para Los Niños Volunteer & Intern Application
General Information

Para Los Niños is a grassroots community organization committed to its mission of organizing Latino families to transform communities and create academic and life success for every Latino student. Founded by a group of Latino parents in 2003, Para Los Niños emphasizes the importance of education and responds to the economic, linguistic and cultural challenges that inhibit access to quality education for many Latino families in South King County, Washington. Our goal is to improve the academic performance and personal success of first generational Latino immigrant families by providing educational programs for children and parents.

There are many ways of contributing to our programs. Below you will find a description of our volunteer and intern positions. If you are interested in getting involved, please submit this application and let us know which program(s) interest you the most. Each opportunity requires some training and a minimum time (hours, weeks, months) commitment.

• All volunteers and interns must fill out this online application and submit it. We will confirm that we received your application. Please allow us seven days to get back to you. Thank you for your understanding. If you have questions about your application, please email Haydee Lavariega, Programs Director, directly at haydee@plnwa.org

• Once we receive your application, we will set up a time for an interview and an orientation.

Our volunteers’ and intern's hard work, heartfelt generosity, and dedication greatly strengthen our programs. Our sincere gratitude goes out to you for your support to Para Los Niños. We look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,

Para Los Niños Staff and Families
