Cycle Smart: Traffic 101 (Aug 7th)
SMART CYCLING: TRAFFIC 101

for Residents of Aquidneck Island (age 18+)

This 3-hour class is designed to give cyclists the confidence needed to ride safely and legally in traffic.  We'll learn lane lane positioning, how to conduct bike safety checks and practice on-bike skills, crash avoidance techniques and night-time visibility.  

Tuesday, August 7, 6:00-9:00pm

at the Preservation Society of Newport County

424 Bellevue Avenue, Newport

Please bring:
- your bicycle and helmet
- what you would wear to be visible riding at night (note, we will not be riding on the road at night)
- a refillable water bottle
- any food or snack you wish - we will provide chips and beverages
