I want to be a Change Agent! *
Change Agents are essential to Youth Lead the Change and Participatory Budgeting. Their job is to take the ideas brainstormed at assemblies and elsewhere, and turn them into concrete proposals to put on the final ballot. While the Change Agent position is unpaid, it provides vital experience in local government that looks excellent on resumes and college applications. The Change Agent position can also be used to accumulate volunteer hours required by high schools. You can serve as a Change Agent if (1) you are between the ages of 12-25, and (2) you live, attend school, work, or volunteer in Boston or are part of a program or organization in Boston. Change Agents will be expected to attend 8-10 meetings from February - May. This opportunity can be used to earn up twenty five community service hours.
