I thought this because of the amount of tasks and time set.I noticed that the way I was reading had changed because I was including questions like "What's the main idea?" or "Where is the story set" when reading the set stories. I think that this gave me a better understanding of what I was reading. There were a variety of strategies that were practised throughtout the proccess. A few of them were: Making Connections - We did this by giving feedback to each other and communicating through documents. Activation Prior Knowledge - We were able to do this when reading the story and making connections with the setting/characters/or actions in the story. When answering questions towards reading tasks I think I will use all reading strategies and skills that I have learnt like Predicting/Making Connectings/Questions. Overall, a big range of reading strategies will be used.I liked tasks that allowed the student to create forms of information from the text into creative applications.I didn't like the tasks where it would take a huge amount of time to finish because it would be rather embarrasing when other students go to comment on your response but there's nothing there.I would love to do more reading challenges like this based on the improvement and interest included in the activities.I don't think Mrs Anderson would have to change any problems other than students copying work and taking for their own.

9/15/2014 12:12:40Student BI thought that the challenge was going to be really hard and difficult for me to do because it had a lot of tasks that we had to complete. The symbaloo had a lot of things on it for us to do which looked like a lot of work to do and then I thought I was not going to get anything done in the time set.My thinking changed a lot because when we completed it every day the text in the story was easy to read and I had gotten a better understanding of what I had to do.It has helped me practice to go back and check for any mistakes so I can fix it up and work on what I need to know and do better as I keep on working. Making people understand what they have to do properly.I liked every task that you set us because it got my attention to keep on going.I didn't like the creating tasks because it was a digital task that we had to do and if it wasn't finished it'll just stay in our drive and because it will take a bit too long for me to do and get it done.Yes because it can help me in reading tests and it can help move my reading to the next level. Also it can help me with other reading tasks in the future.I suggest that you don't have to change anything because you done tasks that made people think and that helps them get a better understanding.

9/15/2014 12:13:31MereI thought that it was going to be difficult because it was a lot of work to do with in a short time limit. Also that the stories were going to be long and I am a slow reader and I wouldn't have enough time to complete the activities. My thinking changed a lot because I had understand the text in the story and It was easy to get the hang of the cycle of the A.D.L Task. It also changed my thinking to take my time reading the story so I can understand the question or task.It has helped me practise to go back and look in the story and read the story so I can memorise the story so It will help me with the questions I answer.I will think about how I can make the story easy for people to understand or I could go back and look at the A.D.L because it is there for a reason for us to move our reading to the next Level.I liked the one when we create on-line task.I didn't like the task where it took a long time for me to do .Yes, because it will move my Reading and Learning to the next level in order for me to do good in the future.I wouldn't change anything because they don't need to be changed because they are tasks that make people think in order for them to understand.

9/16/2014 11:55:47Student DI thought it was going to be hard because it looked like lots of work to do. After a few weeks it became not so hard at all because all we had to do was read a story and do an activity that were set out for us so that we could understand the story. To understand the book more than I think it is. I will think about school, asking myself question and thinking about pictures in my mind. Creating #5 because I like using online websites to do my learning. I didn't like commenting to others work because it took up time and we also had to reply back to them.Yes I do because it's better than reading a book and then doing activities. I also like doing my work online as well. Change the stories so that it is challenging for us.
