OWASP Open Source Showcase @ AppSec APAC 2013
OWASP is offering a limited number of FREE booth spaces at AppSec APAC 2013 for open source projects to promote, demo and share information about their project!

The OWASP Open Source Showcase is open to ANY project - not just OWASP projects. The only requirement is that the project must be licensed under an approved Open Source License. Note that showcase participants are expected to be ticketed conference attendees.

Showcase applications must be submitted by 17:00 GMT on Friday, December 28, 2012. Applications will be chosen by the OWASP Projects Selection Committee on a rolling basis, so submit your applications early! All selected participants will be notified no later than Monday, January 07, 2013.

Showcase participants will be provided table space, wifi and a monitor as needed. Participants are expected to staff their own booths for the duration of their scheduled timeslots and should bring their own computers and/or promotional materials. Power outlets and wired internet will be available for a nominal fee, which is still being negotiated with the venue.

Absolutely NO sales or commercial marketing will be permitted at the Open Source Showcase. The purpose of this showcase is strictly to share and promote open source projects. Commercial organizations supporting open source projects are free to participate in the Open Source Showcase so long as they abide by these restrictions. Organizations that wish to conduct sales presentations and commercial marketing will be better suited by purchasing a booth in the vendor showroom.

Note: OWASP Project Leaders have the option of requesting financial assistance from the Foundation to cover travel and hotel expenses ONLY. This funding is only available to projects that have been selected to participate in the Open Source Showcase at AppSec APAC 2013. Preference will be given to OWASP Project Leaders that are applying to present at the confernce that is closest to their region. Additionally, preference will be given to OWASP Project Leaders that have not presented or participated in the Open Source Showcase.

The OWASP Open Source Showcase is meant as an opportunity for free, open source projects to promote themselves and gain visibility within the OWASP community.
