11/2/2014 16:03:01Joomla! Design Team
The Design Team is a team within the Marketing Working Group.
We do all the “pretty stuff” in Joomla, from print to web, adding meaning and stickiness to the message.
The group works closely with the Marketing Working Group in order to contribute to making our message more consistent throughout all our media, outside and inside our Community.

We “recruit” designers and professional creatives that have knowledge not only of the web but also in graphic arts.
Team Leader: Chiara Aliotta

Members: Gavin Hookham, Alexander Metzler, Marco Peebles, Gev Balyan, Helvecio Da Silva, Arvind Chauhan, Shirat Goldstein, Saurabh Shah, Duke Speer.
Google docs, meeting one by one, meeting with other teams that need our help. Review proposals and brainstorm with the leader or in chat with the group.
Usually we create design proposals that are first reviewed by the team leader. Those proposals are then presented to the team that asks our help and we review them together. Eventually, one design proposal is approved and we finalize all the files needed in order to start reproducing it.
The marketing team receive a request of help.
We evaluate the request and if a designer is needed we allocate a designer to that specific group.
The designer(s) need to create design proposals respecting specific deadlines.
Proposals are approved by the team who asked our help.
Designers finalize the artwork for reproduction (print or web).
Respect deadlines. Timely and prompt response on the request of help. Quality of the final artworks. Original ideas and solutions.
