The Curriculum & Instruction Steering Committee (CISC) of the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association is hosting the 26th annual CISC Symposium on February 22-24, 2017 in Anaheim, California. This year’s theme is “Make it Personal." The Annual Conference is a major educational event for Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Directors of Curriculum & Instruction, and others who work to support curricular innovations in schools.

The 2017 CISC Leadership Symposium theme “Make it Personal” will focus on cultivating individual and collective educational leadership that will promote excellence in equity and access for all learners. The planning committee is excited to offer our enthusiastic participants the opportunity to:

*Build and expand personal learning networks and share stories
*Promote equity and access for all learners
*Close the opportunity and achievement gaps for all learners

Presenters can choose to submit proposals for varied session lengths to meet the needs of different learning styles:

*Workshops (4 hours)--Hands-on, deep dive, interactive, "make and take"--Thursday morning only
*Sessions--Informative (1.5 hours)
*Quick Talks--Share an idea, tip or trick (30 minutes)
