RSVP for Higher Ed Access for Immigrants
On Friday, December 9th from 4:30-7pm, The New School DREAM Team will host a workshop, open to the public, to address legal questions about immigration status. During the first hour, the organization Unlocal will provide an overview of how immigrants of varying statuses can access college education and general tips around understanding immigrants' rights. Then, we will break into small groups to get more personalized advice from immigration lawyers.
All are welcome, and we are particularly hoping to support undocumented students, students with mixed status families, and international students. RSVP information is confidential and is solely to keep track of capacity.
This workshop is free to attend.
