2014: Operation Military Kids Art Contest

Statewide Art Contest

- Youth in grades K-12 (including home-schooled students) with a parent, sibling or other close family member serving in any branch and component of the military are eligible for the contest.
- Participants' artwork will be displayed with the following identification only: first name, grade and branch of service.
- Each child may submit only one entry.
- Entry deadline: Entries must be postmarked by March 26, 2014. NDSU is not responsible for any damage to entries or lost entries.
- All participants must register online prior to mailing their entry.
- Youth do not need to be enrolled in 4-H to participate.

GUIDELINES:
- Theme: My Life as a Military Child
- Entries must be no smaller than 8x10 inches and no larger than 11x7 inches.
- No three-dimensional pieces are allowed.
- All media will be accepted. Note: Chalk, charcoal and pastel entries should be sealed with a fixative spray to prevent smearing. Do not laminate entries.
- Copyrighted characters (such as Snoopy, Charlie Brown or other cartoon characters) cannot be used.
- All entries need to be enclosed in a zip-top clear plastic bag.
