Sanctuary E-Course Registration
A growing movement of immigrant and faith communities have committed to doing what Congress and the Administration refuse to do: protect and stand with immigrants facing deportation. However, many congregations have questions: Who is seeking sanctuary? Who leads sanctuary? How do faith communities declare sanctuary? What are the logistics of sanctuary? What are the responsibilities of sanctuary providers? What are the legal risks of sanctuary and who is taking them?

To answer these questions, the NC Religious Coalition for Justice for Immigrants has created a 5-week E-course. Each week, you will receive a different "course" in your inbox that will include a prayer, Biblical reflection, reading, video, and other resources to explore. At the end of the course, it is our hope that faith leaders will be better equipped to decide how they want to move forward to discern what sanctuary looks like for their congregation and to have a network of support with other local congregations.

Week 1: Why Sanctuary?
Week 2: What is Sanctuary?
Week 3: How to "Do" Sanctuary?
Week 4: What are the Legal Rights and Risks with Sanctuary?
Week 5: Where Do I Go From Here?
