Family Reunification Stories
The National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA) is collecting stories on immigration and family reunification.
Your responses will be used to help us advocate for many immigrant families through the Reuniting Families Act. We greatly appreciate you sharing your story. Responses may be shared in NCAPA communication and publications, and may be used by Congressional leaders and members of NCAPA. Questions can be directed to Nisha Ramachandran at

Tell us your story!
We want to hear about successes and struggles with family immigration. Some ideas include: how sponsored siblings have contributed to their family, the community and economy; how families have suffered when they are kept separated for years or even decades; how families succeed and support one another to thrive when they are together.
