Student Parking Permit 2016 - 2017

    Vehicles on Campus

Vehicles parked on school property are under the jurisdiction of the school. School officials may search any vehicle any time there is reasonable cause to do so, with or without the presence of the student. A student has full responsibility for the security and content of his or her vehicle and must make certain that it is locked and that the keys are not given to others. See also the Student Code of Conduct. Students must purchase a campus parking permit before bringing a vehicle to school. A permit may be purchased for a $10.00 fee beginning August 2, 2016 as long as parking permit and random drug testing consent forms have been filled out in full. Please bring driver's license and check or cash to purchase permit in school office. Students will be required to park in designated areas. Non-compliance will result in a parking ticket. Repeated parking violations will result in loss of privilege on New Braunfels High School Campus. Loss of parking privilege will result in loss of parking permit. For student and faculty safety, any vehicle parked on campus without appropriate permit will be subject to towing. - Parking permit will be displayed on the windshield just above the vehicle registration sticker. - All vehicles parked on the campus of NBHS are subject to search by school officials. - Violations of parking or driving regulations may result in the vehicle being towed away at the owner's expense, suspension of driving privilege, and/or severe disciplinary action. Before a student is eligible to receive a parking permit to park on school property, a parent consent form for random drug testing must be executed and on file with the designated school official. If the student is of legal age (age 18 or older), he or she must also sign the permission form. Because parking on school property is a privilege and not a right, refusal to consent to random drug testing will result in the denial of parking privileges. Completion of this form constitutes agreement to abide by the rules and regulations listed above.

Form must be completed in full in order to receive permit
