TICTeC@Taipei Abstract/Workshop submissions
mySociety and Open Culture Foundation (OCF) are hosting a special installation of mySociety’s The Impacts of Civic Technology Conference (TICTeC) in Taipei (known as TICTeC@Taipei) from 11 - 13 September 2017.

This will be part of OCF's Civic Tech Fest, an official side event of the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT).

We invite individuals to submit abstracts or workshop / presentation proposals of no more than 300 words for TICTeC@Taipei by 16th June 2017.

We encourage submissions to focus on the specific impacts of technologies, rather than showcase new tools that are as yet untested.

Those selected for inclusion in the conference programme will be notified no later than 23rd June 2017.

Presenters will be required to register for the conference by 30th June in order to confirm their slot (The registration fee will be waived for individuals presenting). The registration fee includes entrance to the main WCIT event, as well as all events that are part the of Civic Tech Fest (more details here: http://civictechfest.org/).

An abstract should include a brief overview of the research, the research questions, the methods used, and the results you plan to share. Narratives or descriptions of tools or services will not be accepted. We will prioritise proposals that can demonstrate data or evidence of how civic tech has been impactful in some way.
