2017 Trends and Innovations Awards Nominations

Once a year Homeward recognizes members of the homeless services community for outstanding achievement at the Trends and Innovations Awards Ceremony Lunch Reception. Awards will be given to organizations and individuals who are addressing the needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness, developing initiatives to end homelessness, or strengthening our coordinated response to homelessness. The reception will take place on Monday, June 19th as part of the Regional Conference on Best Practices to Prevent and End Homelessness.

Nomination forms are due by Friday, April 28, 2017

Steve Neathery Award: Overcoming Homelessness - Recognizes an individual or family that has successfully overcome homelessness and now helps others make the same transition. This award is given in memory of Steve Neathery, a founding member of Homeward’s board of directors and early champion of client-centered homeless services.

Randall Hicks Award: Excellence in Homeless Services - Recognizes a homeless services staff person who goes above and beyond in their work to end homelessness for his/her clients. This award is given in memory of Randall Hicks, the first recipient of this award in May 2007.

Community Champion in Ending Homelessness: Recognizes an outstanding individual, corporation, congregation, or funder for their long-term dedication to ending homelessness in Greater Richmond.
