Field School Music Performing Groups - 5th Grade
Beginning in the fall, all students at Field School will be able to join Band, Orchestra or Chorus for the 2023-24 school year.  Students who are extra motivated may choose to participate in BOTH an instrumental group (ie. band or orchestra) AND chorus!  Students in band or orchestra will have one half hour lesson during the school day each week in addition to an after school rehearsal, as listed below.  Chorus will only have the after-school rehearsal.

5th Grade Orchestra:  Tuesdays from 2:20-3:15
5th Grade Band:  Tuesdays from 2:20-3:15
5th Grade Chorus:  Mondays from 2:20-3:15

Students who choose band or orchestra will need to rent an instrument for the year.  Please see the attached rental forms for band (K&C Music Co) and orchestra (Johnson Strings) to understand the rental cost and needs for instrumental groups.  Rentals will take place in the fall.  If your child is continuing on their current instrument, you may renew it for a 12 month rental.
