Funding for Events and Workshops
GUIDELINES
Before you and your student group submit a funding proposal for an event or workshop, make sure to review these guidelines to ensure that you have followed all of our recommendations! You will be required to check them off at the end of this form in order to submit your proposal. If you fail to comply with any of these instructions, you WILL NOT receive funding!

1. When preparing a budget, students should show a willingness to cover a reasonable portion of the total cost.

2. Funding is not being used for any student travel expenses.

3. The event's sole purpose is not raising funds for a Yale-NUS student organization.

4. If the event is raising funds for an outside organization (i.e. local non-profit, etc.) and is eligible for funding, raising funds should not be the sole purpose of the event.

5. Yale-NUS students do not need to pay for admission to the event, unless necessary (tickets or entrance fees can be assessed to community members or outside organisations if necessary).
