Compute Nodes
Buy-in users receive priority access to purchased cluster resources for their research group. As part of the buy-in agreement, iCER provides the cyberinfrastructure for researchers to utilize their buy-in equipment. This includes replicated high-speed file servers, monitored redundant power and cooling, management nodes, and a comprehensive software stack. Additionally, iCER provides HPCC system administration and troubleshooting support, user training, and user consultations.

I. Laconia Cluster Standard Node (28 cores, 128 GB RAM, 240GB SSD) - Price/node: $5,320
256GB Memory Upgrade - $1,112/upgrade
512GB Memory Upgrade - $3,623/upgrade

II. Chassis: $2,020 per chassis
One chassis is required for every 12 standard nodes purchased.
If you are using MSU start-up funds to purchase nodes, then the chassis charge is waived.

III. GPU Node (4 x nVIDIA k80 GPUs, 256GB RAM, 240GB SSD) - Price/node: $25,250
