We expect our tutors to:

Attend all tutor meetings
•
Arrive promptly and be fully prepared for each and every class
•
Be enthusiastic, engaging and provide relevant written feedback on all student assignments

Be available for all classes you have been employed to teach, or if you have a scheduling conflict then it is YOUR responsibility to find a substitute tutor and they MUST be from within the units tutor pool, you also must give plenty of advanced notice to the convenor / super-tutor

Answer student enquiries via email and iLearn discussion posts
•
Attend departmental seminars & meetings to develop your understanding of Biology and our department
This is a competitive process and selection preference will be:

Given to those who have completed the Tutor Literacy Workshop / TIP / FILT programs

Based on performance feedback from conveners
