(Non-research conferences are also good. But those go through DevRel: https://airtable.com/shrBgtus5SwYROkyk. If your conference does not have submitted and published papers, it's probably not a research conference.)
This form should be completed by the General Chair for the conference. You will need a Mozilla champion. If you are outside of Mozilla, please find a Mozilla employee as a champion for your conference. Sorry, but we can't help you find a Mozilla employee as a champion. One of the ways we determine if we should sponsor a conference is if there is sufficient Mozilla engagement, such as people going to the conference.
For all conferences starting in 2018 and beyond, we require that all conferences we sponsor have a) a Code of Conduct and b) an Accessibility Chair. We believe that these two requirements improve the quality, diversity and inclusiveness of conferences.
For guidance on having an code of conduct, please see Mozilla's Community Participation Guidelines: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/governance/policies/participation/
For guidance on having an accessibility chair, please see the guides from SIGCHI (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1P7io7yKsQBEwxqWJBZhzwdZUWsWcu6M444k9jnl-iI4/edit) and from SIGACCESS (http://www.sigaccess.org/welcome-to-sigaccess/resources/accessible-conference-guide/).
