Disability Support Services Peer Mentoring - Mentor Expression of Interest
The Disability Support Services program matches students registered with our services with a student mentor who is a trained, experienced student for regular meetings throughout semester.

Mentors provide support, encouragement and information to assist their mentee to successfully navigate university life, student support services and campus resources.

You will be expected to meet your mentee for approx 1-2 hours per week, which may include meeting up for coffee, some assistance with campus orientation, practical campus know-how, university social events and referrals to university services.

Mentoring is NOT academic support.

To be a peer mentor you must be available to attend a 1-hour training and induction session

Students currently registered with Disability Support Services are encouraged to apply to be mentors.
