Indigenous Access Initiative
Applying to this initiative will support your application to Monash University's health science courses through an interview process.

Applying through the Indigenous Access Initiative has several benefits:
- It will take into account your previous study and life experience
- You will find out more about scholarships and accommodation
- You will meet Gukwonderuk staff who specialise in supporting Indigenous students in health sciences
- You can find out about pathways to our courses, if required
- You will be included in the Indigenous VESPA a vertical peer program where you can engage with senior mentors on clinical case presentations, strengthen study skills, meet other Indigenous health science students and learn about Koori medicine and healing practices

Once you have completed this form Gukwonderuk Unit staff from the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science will contact you shortly after to organise an interview. The interview can lead to direct entry to a course, a six or twelve month pathway to a course or another pathway to a course.
