MINN Volunteer Form
The Minnesota International NGO Network (MINN) is a forum for international practitioners and supporters to learn, network and exchange professional expertise. With the support of our incredible volunteers, our efforts result in innovative and effective solutions that enrich the global community. As a MINN volunteer, you can expect opportunities to build your skills and resume, to strengthen your international development content knowledge, to network and collaborate with Minnesota’s rich international development community, and to lend your voice to work which drives global good. Thank you so much for your interest—we are happy you found us!

MINN volunteers engage in a number of different ways to best suit individual skills and interests. Oftentimes our volunteers choose to participate in the activities of one of MINN’s 2 amazing committees: Program and Summit (find more information here http://www.minnesotangos.org/get_involved), but we also welcome your unique contribution outside of the committee structure, just get in touch and let us know how you’d like to engage! A few examples of past volunteer responsibilities include:

1) Organize, plan, and host a Networking event at Fair State Brewing Cooperative
2) Organize, plan, and host an educational discussion on successful crowdfunding campaigns
3) Participate in setting the strategic direction for the annual MINN IDEA Summit (the largest annual gathering of international development practitioners in Minnesota)
4) Contribute to MINN’s social media presence or communications
5) Invite and connect elected representatives to select MINN events, such as a 2015 Global Report Launch Party with Congressman Emmer and Senator Klobuchar, and a 2016 panel discussion with Congressman Ellison

Are you ready to become a volunteer? Please take a few minutes to complete the fields below to let us know how you’d like to contribute your time and talents. Thank you!

*Disclaimer: Please note that MINN is only able to place LOCAL VOLUNTEERS and is not currently hiring for any paid employment positions. Should you be interested in an international connection with our organization, please contact our board secretary at secretary@minnesotangos.org.
