MHFB Business and Event Coordinator
The Business and Event Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all of the bands’ business operations under the guidance and supervision of the Board of Directors. The individual will have the authority to negotiate and sign contracts as approved by the board, confirm reservations, speak on behalf of the board on all business matters, manage volunteers and events, coordinate with the front-of-house manager for event needs, coordinate event needs with the Artistic Staff, and any other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

The successful candidate should have strong organizational skills, an ability and willingness to communicate clearly to various outside organizations, willingness to serve as an ex-officio member of the board and provide monthly reports to the board, and willingness to represent the bands’ business interests in a public setting. The Business and Event Coordinator will serve as an appointed member of the MHFB Board in an ex-officio, non-voting capacity and report directly to the President of the MHFB Board of Directors. The position is primarily a volunteer position, but will include a stipend paid monthly.
