Greetings Umoja family we hope this message finds you and your loved ones well.

Like many of you, we are closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing around the evolving situation and are praying for everyone’s health and well being.

Historically, we have opened up our vendor applications by the first week in March, however due to the increasing concerns around the virus, we will be postponing taking any actions in the short-term.

We have every intention of celebrating all that is beautiful and all that is Africa this August. So please stay tuned for updates on new vending deadlines and any potential changes for The Umoja Festival 2020. Each passing day brings new developments, but our number one priority continues to be the health and well being of you, our team and all of our attendees.

The Umoja Festival will be Saturday, August 15th 2020. At Lowell Park in West Oakland.

We are offering a 10x10 square foot vending site. Tents will be required this year as well as seller permits. We will be asking for a $75 vending fee.
