The 2014 conference theme is "Connectivity through Service Learning and Civic Engagement". Our keynote speakers and workshops presenters will assist us by sharing their knowledge, research, challenges and solutions on how they are developing and implementing successful leadership strategies at their educational institutions and in their communities to ensure we have the best leaders leading us into the future.
Conference Goal: The conference goal is to provide and enhance the participant's knowledge on how to utilize service learning and civic engagement strategies to meet the academic needs of their students while serving their communities.
Instructions for Submitting Proposals
Proposals are now being accepted for concurrent pre-conferences and workshop sessions during the Center's 23rd Annual International Conference. Workshop sessions are 60 or 90 minute sessions, which should be designed to be highly interactive. Pre-conference sessions are either 3 hours (half day) or 6 hours (full day with lunch at noon). Proposals to present at the conference must be submitted in electronic form.
Concurrent Sessions: Concurrent Sessions are to be interactive and designed to give participants specific skills and strategies related to the topic presented with emphasis within the three major conference tracks: Social Justice, Service-Learning Program Development and Management, Civic Engagement, On-line Service Learning and Student Success through Service and Engagement.

Deadline for Submission: February 13, 2014 Notification by: February 28, 2014
In addition to conducting a workshop presentation during the conference, presenters are responsible for submitting a 3-5-page conference paper, which describes the conference session, no later than May 1, 2014. Presenters should forward one copy of the original in electronic format (PC compatible).
