Prayer Partners and Mentors

During Lent, beginning on Ash Wednesdays, March 1, our confirmation youth (and interested high school youth) participate in meetings with Mentors each Wednesday. We meet at 6:10 for a brief video, or introduction, to the night's topic, followed by time for mentors and youth to talk.
We then ask that mentors and youth attend our Wednesday evening worship service together. Mentors and youth will then reconvene to talk until 7:45 pm.
Please not that on March 15 we will be attending a worship experience off-site, so the time may adjust slightly.
On March 29, mentors and youth will be serving together at Feed My Starving Children from 6-7:30 pm. Plan to carpool from Memorial at 5:30, or meet in Eagan.

Prayer Partners

Beginning March 2017, each child in Sunday School, through 6th grade, will be paired with two adult prayer partners. Once a month we ask that kids meet with prayer partners to simply touch base and allow prayer partners to pray for the kids. There are no further expectations of prayer partners. However, as you continue to build relationships with these kids, we do encourage you to learn more about them, what is going on in their lives, and about their families.
Prayer partners are ongoing, so please be prepared to continue praying for these children.
Our first time together will be during the fellowship time following worship on March 5.
It is very important that these meetings occur at least once a month, so if you are unable to be there March 5, please alert Nick and make arrangements with the child you are paired with.
If you have any questions about prayer partners, please contact Nick (
