Volunteer Signup: 2017 MCBC Solstice Fondo
The Marin County Bicycle Coalition is proud to announce the return of the Solstice Dirt Fondo, an all-day mountain bike ride on Saturday, July 15, 2017. As you know, proceeds help MCBC expand Marin's network of bike legal trails, including over 20 miles of new trail projects and proposals coming on line starting THIS YEAR!

To pull off such an epic ride, we depend upon the efforts of our amazing MCBC Volunteers!

That's where you come in! We need people with pre-event and day-of-event Ride Packet Pick-up, Course Marshall tasks, Rest Stop Helpers, and Post-Ride Celebration efforts!

Times and locations are listed for each volunteer opportunity.  

All MCBC Solstice Fondo Volunteers will receive an MCBC t-shirt to wear for the event and a tasty lunch at the post-ride BBQ. We look forward to seeing you at the event!

Solstice Fondo Group Ride Leader / Safety Sweep
We need a few experienced mountain bikers to assist groups of 10 riders through the course, making sure they make all the turns and have fun! You'll ride the complete course from the Marin Museum of Bicycling and return. (Estimated timeframe 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Day of Event Packet Pick-Up
Show up early to greet riders as they pick up ride packets, course information and t-shirts the day of event.

Help prepare and distribute snacks, hydration and encouragement for riders. Lucas Valley Road & Terra Linda Ridge Fire Road
Day of Event - 7/15/17 - Rest Stop #2: Big Rock 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Help prepare and distribute snacks, hydration and encouragement for riders.  Big Rock 8:00am to 10:00am
Day of Event - 7/15/17 - Rest Stop #3: Brown Bridge 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Help prepare and distribute snacks, hydration and encouragement for riders.  Brown Bridge 9:00 AM  to 12:00 PM
