Qualifying Elementary Schools
The Manchester School District participates in the grant funded USDA Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program at elementary schools with 50% or more of students who are eligible for free or reduced price meals.

Goals of the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)
This program is seen as an important catalyst for change in efforts to combat obesity by helping children learn more healthful eating habits. The FFVP introduces school children to a variety of produce that they otherwise might not have had the opportunity to sample.
