    SUMMER CAMP SESSIONS

ALL WEEKLONG CAMP SESSIONS ARE SOLD OUT. Check up to 2 summer sessions per student. All experience levels are welcome at all sessions. LIVE ACTION FILMMAKING CAMP is a one-week program of half-day sessions, and will be offered the weeks of July 7, July 14 and July 21. The morning session from 9 am to noon is for students entering grades 3-6, and the afternoon session from 1 - 4 pm is for those entering grades 7 - 12. Each session is $175 per camper, which includes a camp T-shirt, daily snacks and a digital copy of the finished films. Participation is capped at 20 campers per session. STOP-MOTION ANIMATION CAMP is offered in three forms: a single week camp teaching techniques of stop-motion animation, a single week camp offering an opportunity to build models, and a two-week combination of both camps. The combo camp is a two-week program for campers that teaches both the model-making and the filming aspects of animated features like A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS and WALLACE AND GROMIT. The first week will focus on character design, and campers will get to build a puppet with a posable armature. Then during the second week, they can use their puppet creations to star in their animated films. Morning and afternoon puppet-building sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 - 4 pm the week of June 16. Stop-motion filmmaking will be an afternoon session the following week of June 23. The two-week program is $300 per camper, which includes puppet-building materials, a camp T-shirt, daily snacks and a digital copy of the finished films. Participation is capped at 20 campers per session. Please read all instructions carefully. Make sure grade level for chosen session(s) matches your child's grade level as given above. ALL WEEKLONG SESSIONS ARE SOLD OUT.
