ART.2 PARTICIPATIONPresentation of this application form, represents applicant’s commitment to participate and acceptance of the general conditions set forth herein.
ART. 3 TERMS AND PAYMENT CONDITIONSAny company declaring its intention to participate in the event as exhibitor by filling this participation form will receive a corresponding order confirmation and regular invoice for• First tranche: 50% on registration and final tranche: 50% by 31st January 2017.Payments can be made through the following ways:• Bank Transfer for the benefit of Noema Srl UnipersonaleEMILBANCA Credito Cooperativo – Filiale BolognaIBAN CODE: IT 82 D 07072 02405 026000188581SWIFT: ICRAITRRTS0• Cheque or bank draft in favour of Noema Srl Unipersonale.Lacking payment or lacking sending of payment disposal to Organizing Secretariat will invalidate your participation to the event. Any delayed payment beyond the deadlines herein shall be subject to interests as per Law No.231 dated October 9, 2002, in full effect as of November 7, 2002.
ART. 4 CANCELLATIONApplicants may cancel their requests to participate by writing to Noema Srl Unipersonale. Written requests must be received no later than 10th December 2015 and in such cases Noema Srl Unipersonale will have the right to withhold 50% of the amount agreed, subject to the Organizer’s right to request further compensation for any additional damages. Moreover, if requests for cancellation will be sent after 10th December 2015, the participant will be obliged to pay the entire sum, always subject to the Organizer’s right to request further compensation for any additional damages. If applicants will not send cancellation as described above or indeed participate in the Festival, they will be obliged to pay the entire amount stipulated, subject to the Organizer’s right to request further compensation for any additional damages. In the event that exhibition spaces have been made available to the applicant, the organizer may re-allocate these.
ART.5 RESERVATION OF EXHIBITION AREAExhibition areas shall be reserved by appropriately filling the on-line participation form on the website www.noemacongressi.it, in the section dedicated to the event, or on www.eventi.alai.it. The allocation of spaces will be made by the ALAI Board with raffle by 15th February 2017. Upon receipt of application, Noema Srl Unipersonale will send written confirmation of the booking, which will be the only document giving the applicant access to all his rights as exhibitor, and will also send relative Technical Regulations to all exhibitors, which will specify how to request personalization of exhibition areas and/or extra material, in addition to times and duration of assembly and disassembly. Such requests will be accepted on the bases of feasibility and authorization connected to the area. Partial or total transfer of the allocated area is not permitted, even if free of charge.
ART.6 SET-UP AND DISMANTLING OF BOOTHSTechnical and logistical details relating to the set-up and dismantling of exhibition spaces shall be specified in the Technical Regulations accompanying the confirmation of participation.We kindly remind you that is not possible to set-up the booth with personal furnishings.
ART. 7 ENTRYAll exhibitors can ask for entry passes for the personnel members that will work inside the booth. Access to exhibition areas during setting up and dismantling, will we permitted only to those in possession of their own badge.A € 10,00 ticket will be required to visit the exhibition. The ticket will be valid for all 3 days of fair. For each exhibitor the Organizing Secretariat will deliver n. 20 free tickets, which may be used for entrance of the exhibitors’ guests.
ART.8 USE OF THE LOGOILAB and ALAI members must insert the Antiquarian Book Fair “Libri Antichi e di Pregio a Milano” logo on all promotional material concerning the fair. The use of the logo must be previously authorized by the Organizing Secretariat upon presentation of a draft of the material that will be used only during this event in the agreed quantity.
ART.9 LIABILITY FOR THEFT AND DAMAGEParticipants will be responsible for supervising their own exhibition spaces either personally or by means of personnel and, in any case, exonerate the Organizer from any responsibility relating to theft or damage which may occur to the participant’s detriment. Participants shall not hold the organizers responsible in any way whatsoever for any damages which may be caused by the Participant him or herself or by his or her personnel.
ART.10 POSTPONEMENT, REDUCTION AND SUSPENSION OF THE EVENT Should the event be cancelled, either entirely or partially, for reasons which go beyond their control or cannot be attributed to them, Noema Srl Unipersonale will bear no responsibility towards the participant. Only in the event of complete cancellation, once commitments have been honored and sums which are due to Noema Srl Unipersonale have been detracted, will any amounts remaining be shared amongst participants in proportion of payments made. Participants hereby waiver any action against Noema Srl Unipersonale with the aim of receiving any reimbursement and/or compensation for damage. Noema Srl Unipersonale is also exonerated from any responsibility related to events which may interfere with regular progress of the exhibition. Changes to event dates may be made solely at the Organizer’s discretion and indisputable authority without this giving participants the faculty to withdraw, request any reimbursement and/or compensation for damage.
ART.11 DOMICILE OF CHOICE – COMPETENT JURISDICTIONEach applicant elects his or her domicile at the address indicated on the application form. Any dispute that may arise regarding the interpretation and/or execution of the present Contract shall be referred, without exception or appeal to any alternative jurisdiction, exclusively to the Courts of Bologna.
