216117,"Feighery, Alexander J ",To improve my editing skillsThe hands-on portion of the class like editing and filming, and of course the technologyTo edit a video and have no jump cuts, showing of green from a green screen or anything of that nature. Basically to perfectly edit a video.Keep a spot on honor roll all year, get straight A's, be able to keep my average mile time under 6 minutes easily.I've always wanted to do politics, but right now I'm not sure what I want to do. Whatever career I pick I want to make a change for the better.I want to go to an Ivy League school, or any good college on the east coast. Stay close to home. Maybe even go to Rutgers like my parents.Anything Austin Marsdale does. I laugh every time.I'm going to be a Godfather, so that's pretty cool.Yeah, even farther, maybe. I'm pretty proud of my accomplishments and success over the past school year. The lighting project really exemplified the use of teamwork in a stressed amount of time. It helped build relationship between us and taught us young film makers that light makes a huge difference in videos.

220017,"Herb, Sean R ",Become a better editor, writer, and better camera work.Editing and filming a video, and making sure it is the best it can be.
Produce well made and well thought out films. To make my own short film, produce biweekly ShawneeTV segments, and to become a better director for live production. To become a director, editor, or cameraman for a news stations.Montclair, colleges in California.Recaps of recent events.Listening to music, watching short films online, and talking with friends that want to make movies too.Yes and no. Over the past 10 months, I've spent a lot of time editing and doing camera work, and have gotten much better at it. I did not however rwally do much writing. I also haven't made my own short film, or make too many segments for Shawnee TV. Due in part to getting busy with things outside of school, but also because I haven't pushed myself to make segments, or to write. Since it's summer, I don't really get the chance to make segments. But I can push myself to write scripts, and to push myself to write out ideas for segments. From the lighting project, I've learned more about editing and camera work I have over the rest of my time in Comm tech 2. I learned how to frame shots much better then before, and also learned how to manipulate light for whatever look I want. I've also become better at editing since I was the editor for the project. I ended up spending a quarter of my time researching how to do different effects in Premiere, or learning short cuts, or how to make it look better over all.

232717,"Robertson, Veronica H ",I'd like to improve my camera operating and editing skills. Also, I want to learn more about audio and lighting design. Producing interesting, well made content for an audience. I love learning different ways and styles of creating a video, and how I can tweak my own ideas and creations to make them better. To produce videos that are smooth and mistake free. I want my videos to be of as high quality as possible and are entertaining.Produce at least 20 RMS segments, and direct a short film. Id also like to create multiple news packages for Shawnee Extra.I want to become a film director and/or editior on good, indie and/or big cinematic films. Films that mean something to people and can possibly make a difference in someone' s life. Columbia, BU,BC, Emerson, NYU, Northeastern, UCLA, USCPhotos of the Week! (Just Kidding :)
I'm not a huge fan of the recurring segments, I tend to like for one-off things that are both funny and well made. I feel like somtimes the recurring segments are thrown away, and people don't do as good a job creating them as they could be.
Lord of the Rings (the cinematography), small indie films, music, tumblr, and all of the people I knowI am definitely not where I expected to be 10 months ago. To start out, after working on both Shawnee Extraand the Lighting Project, I've come to the conclusion that I am much more interested in Journalism than film. I think I only acheive12-15 segments, not 20, but that's oikay because I also made two Shawnee Extras for one episode, and directed the Lighting Project. I believe that I have grown as an editor, seeing as I've learned more about audio and color correction. I have made friends with the people in this club who inspire me, and push me to become better at what I do. In my opinion, the lighting project was very rushed. I don't think we had an adequate amount of time to produce what we were trying to form. Besides that, I thought that the project was eye opening pertaining to the work that goes into the production of a short film. I learned how to create different feelings with light. It taught me about the leadership, and responsibility that goes into being a director and a producer and working with a crew. Usually I am a very independent person, so it was great learning to work with a group.

265316,"Steinberg, Nadiv Joseph ",To improve my camera skills and to be able to get better at editingThe fact that I can do two of the many things I love to do such as act and film.To be able to produce well and be creative by making my films good.To be able to produce more segments for TV Tech and get more involved. Also I would love to get farther with my photography. To be able to go to college for something that I love such as Photography, Filming, and Acting.New York UniversityMan on the StreetListening to music inspires me most of the time. I also like to be around others that share the same interests as me.Yes, I am proud of my accomplishments I've madeI was able to learn more about camera motions and filming. Also, I was able to produce many more segments that I am proud of!During the lighting project, it was a very different thing for me to do. Such as working with many others and everyone having different ideas. Something I've learned from this project is to try to do something even when there is nothing and to work well with others. Also, always try to be part of the team and make sure that you stay apart and do your best to help out.

254715,"Wilson, Stephanie S ",editing, directing, camera work, and lightingThe hands on learning To improve my abilities and knowledge in this field so I can bring that knowledge with me into collegeTo be as involved as possible, so I can get the most experience I canTo become a director of cinematography and eventually a overall directorSCAD university in GeorgiaMan on the StreetTV Shows, Music Videos, Books, MoviesI am not where I expected to be 10 months ago, and that's not neccessarily a bad thing. I learned more than I expected to. I learned that, instead of a director, my passion is now to be a set designer, or a makeup artist. I want to combine my love for art and film making rather than completely forgetting my years of traditional art training. At the moment, I'm not as sure about what I want to go onto accomplish, and that's ok. I have plenty of time to figure it out and this class helped me realize that I was narrowing my options. My experience in the lighting project was interesting. I loved sharing ideas with the class and helping with storyboarding. This project helped me realize just how much art and compostion goes into the thought process of making movies. I learned that sharing your ideas does not make you a nuisance, but instead helps the process.
