The mission of the Parent Association of the Louisville Ballet School is to encourage and support the students of the Louisville Ballet School in their efforts to learn and grow in their study of dance and appreciation of the arts. PALS members help maintain the outstanding reputation of Louisville Ballet School as a leader in the artistic community while assisting in producing a creative and fun learning atmosphere for their children.
PALS aspires to provide volunteer support for the programming and productions of the Louisville Ballet School, fundraising support for special events benefiting our students, supplies necessary to ensure the comfort and safety of our students and their families, and to serve the School population at-large by creating a sense of community that extends beyond the dance studio.
We encourage you and your family to become active members of PALS and help maintain the Louisville Ballet School’s outstanding reputation as a leader in the artistic community. PALS involvement includes, but is not limited to “FUN”-raising events for families and students throughout the school year, hosting receptions for School activities, providing holiday treats for the students at Louisville Ballet School and for the teachers during teacher appreciation week, and helping to create a warm and inspiring community space for our families and students at both studio locations. A special group of PALS also organizes and staffs the Louisville Ballet Nutcracker Boutique in order to raise funds for our upper level students to attend the Southeast Regional Ballet Association (SERBA) festival.
13-14 Membership dues: $25
